Deborah Darlene Wike Treadway

Deborah Darlene Wike Treadway, 62, of Taylorsville, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Deborah was born April 9, 1954, in Iredell County, daughter of the late Richard Wike and Arlene Minton Brown. She was a supervisor for 16 years at Escod Industries. She was also a member of Living Word Ministries, in Statesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Treadway.

She is survived by three daughters, Tracey Treadway, Amy Treadway (Buddy Walker), and Dawn T. Hatton (Jermey), all of Taylorsville; a brother, Billy Wike of Taylorsville; and six grandchildren, Britt Cooper (Brook Matheson) of Boone, Joshua Cooper, Jacob Hatton, Zachary Hatton, Julie Treadway, and Emma Hatton, all of Taylorsville.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor James Lewis and Pastor Paul Schronce will officiate. The family will receive friends, from 3:00-4:00 p.m., prior to the service at Chapman Funeral Home.
