Talmadge Monra “Tim” Kinney
Talmadge Monra “Tim” Kinney, 69, of Statesville, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at his home.
He was born April 20, 1947, in Guilford County, son of the late Gilmer William Kinney and Maude Luvene Rich Kinney. He retired as a counselor at TriCounty Mental Health. After his retirement, he was a self-employed house mover.
He is survived by his wife, Joni Susan Prohaska Kinney of the home; a son, Daniel Johnson; six daughters, Natasha Austin, Sarah Huffman, Adrianne Johnson, Angel Johnson, Courtney Nishimoto, and Devon Dixon; and a brother, Dennis Darcel Kinney of Greensboro.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. A.K Loyd and Rev. David Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at his residence 5086 Wilkesboro Hwy, Statesville. The family will receive friends, from 6:00– 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at Chapman Funeral Home.
