Beulah Starnes Bowman

Beulah Starnes Bowman, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, at her home, on Saturday, September 3, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Bertha Starnes; and her husband, Hal Bowman.
She was survived by five daughters, Jerry Sue Walker (E.D.) of Raleigh, Judy Rairdon (Terry) of Bethlehem, Vicki Fink (Kenneth) of Faith, Kim Russell of Richmond, Texas, and Harriet Gilbert (David Sr.) of Bethlehem; 11 grandchildren, Carol Hatchett, Jeffery Walker, Paul Rairdon, Lauren Dickenson, John Fink, Matthew Fink, Andi Wallis, Nathan Russell, Adrian Russell, David Wane Gilbert, Jr., and Belinda Gilbert; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Beulah was a faithful and loving mother and a woman of many talents which included sewing, cake decorating, quilting, and crocheting. Her custom designed, lace tablecloths were sought by not only Bethlehem area residents, but by people throughout the state.
A private family graveside service was held Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
