Faye Walker

Faye Walker, 89, of South Wallace Lane, Hiddenite, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Walker was born June 23, 1927, in Alexander County, daughter of the late Joseph Albert Isenhour and Eula Vella Blankenship.
She had worked at Blue Bell, Inc. before retiring, and was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. Faye loved her church, especially her Sunday school class. She loved the fellowship with others, when someone had a birthday and they would get dressed up and go out to eat.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Allie Walker; a son, Raymond Eugene Walker; a grandson, Stonie Burke; a granddaughter, Cindy Walker; and two brothers, Gail Isenhour and Boyd Isenhour.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Mary Earp and husband Dean, Jean Warren and husband Michael, and Jane Herman and husband Tommy, all of Hiddenite; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2016, at White Plains Baptist Church.Rev. Tony Daniels and A.K. Lloyd will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at White Plains Baptist Church.
Pallbearers include: Michael Warren, Colby Warren, Mackenzie Warren, Dustin Burke, Daniel Burke, Jeremy Walker, and Keith Isenhour.
