On March 8, 1970, he married Nelda Shore Fox, formerly of Yadkinville, who survives.
Mr. Fox was a member of Ham’s Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, church treasurer, and a song leader, all for many years. Larry enjoyed spending time at his church and with his family. He also enjoyed gospel singing, reading, golf, cooking for church events, watching TV, and time at the beach with his family and friends. Before his health failed, he and Nelda enjoyed visiting the sick and elderly.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fox was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Fox Sullivan and her husband Paul, and Glenda Mae Fox; along with a nephew, Dr. Kerry P. Sullivan.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nelda Fox, and a son, Kevin Larry Fox, both of the home; a sister, Nelda Fox Millsaps (Kirt) of Statesville; three nephews, Kent Millsaps (Melody) of Monroe, Brent Millsaps (Lisa) of Statesville, and Dr. Brad Shore of Texas; a great-nephew, Tristan Millsaps of Statesville; and a brother-in-law, Leon Shore (Gayle) of Yadkinville.
