Perry “Doug” Livingston

Perry “Doug” Livingston, 69, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 3, 2016.
He was born March 5, 1947, in Caldwell County, son of the late Perry and Ruby Livingston. Doug was a member at Antioch Baptist Church and a member of the Alexander County Crime Stoppers.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Killian Livingston.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Thad Livingston and wife Kim, Julie Anderson and husband David, Andy Buckner, and Alicia Cline; grandchildren, Katie, Emily and Jay Livingston, Jonathan, Logan and Jesse Anderson, Luke and Aaron Buckner, and Miranda Cline; and two great-grandchildren, Camden and Samantha.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Alexander Funeral Service, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., with the funeral service following, at 3:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Mark Morrison will be officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, in Hickory, with full military rites.
Pallbearers will be: Jonathan, Logan and Jesse Anderson, Jay Livingston, Andy, Luke and Aaron Buckner, and Scott Hollar.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
