Ruby Marie Moose Sommer, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

She was the wife of Richard Sommer of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; mother of Skyler Sommer and Peyton Sommer, both of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; stepchildren, Christopher Sommer of Summerville, South Carolina, and Kaila Renai Sommer of Hanahan, South Carolina; daughter of Shelia McCall Moose of Taylorsville, and Kelly and Phyllis Moose of Patrick, South Carolina; granddaughter of the late Beveridge (Buddy) Moose and Nadine Moose of Stony Point, Ivolee McCall of Tennessee, and Shields (Ruth) McCall. She is also survived by her brothers, Lee Moose of Stony Point, Donovan and Amy Moose of Huntersville, and Anthony Moree of Hartsville, South Carolina; and sisters, Carrie (Keith) Mitchell of Stony Point, Cheryl Foster of Statesville, and Sherry (Chris) Kirby.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Mrs. Sommer at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016, at P.S. Johnson Funeral Chapel, 440 Venning Street, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
