Judy Ann Starnes Teague

Judy Ann Starnes Teague, 65, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016, at Catawba Medical Center, Hickory.

Judy was born October 3, 1951, in Catawba County, daughter of the late Leroy Coolidge (L.C.) Starnes and Betty (Mim) Payne Starnes who survives.

Judy was employed prior to disability at Harry Gant Restaurant, in Taylorsville. Judy was of the Baptist faith and attended Concord Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Eugene Elder.

Judy is survived by her mother, Betty Starnes and husband Marshall E. Teague of Bethlehem; a daughter, Emily T. Caldwell of Troutman; four brothers, L.C. Starnes, Jr. (Amy), Cecil Starnes (Cindy), Larry Starnes (Anne), and Jerry Starnes, all of Bethlehem; four sisters, Sue Starnes of Conover, Mary Jo Starnes Grant of Stony Point, Doris Bolton (Darrell) of Conover, and Gail Starnes Scott (Barney) of Claremont; a special grandson, Kobe Loray Caldwell of Troutman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service of memory and a celebration of Judy’s life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel, 158 Stony Point School Road, Stony Point.
