Audrey Faye Peregoy Chewning

Audrey Faye Peregoy Chewning, 81, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016.

Mrs. Chewning was born February 11, 1935 to the late Charles Bernard Peregoy and Eva Martin Peregoy. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Mason Chewning, Sr.; a son, Thomas Mason Chewning, Jr.; a sister, Virginia Thomas; and a brother, Irving Peregoy.

Surviving are her children, Michael (Benita) Chewning, Janet (Ken) Epley, and Tim (Janet) Chewning; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Deep Creek Baptist Church, by Rev. Rick Page.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Deep Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 2401 Old Stage Rd., Yadkinville, NC 27055.
