William “Bill” David Fox

Loving Son William “Bill” David Fox, 56, of Eastview Court, Taylorsville, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Avante, at Wilkesboro.

Mr. Fox was born February 20, 1961, in Alexander County, the son of Wayburn Barnes Millsaps of Taylorsville and the late David Benjamin Fox.

He had worked for Catawba County Highway Department as a heavy equipment supervisor and was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church.

Bill loved to hunt and was an avid gun collector.  He enjoyed spending time at target practice and was a member of the Sons of the Confederate.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his step-father, James Millsaps; a daughter, Megan Lively of Alexander County; two granddaughters, Emma and Ada Lively, both of Alexander County; a step-brother, Eric Millsaps and wife Ragan of Statesville; a special aunt, Elva Fox of Taylorsville; a step-uncle and aunt, Butch and Sally Millsaps of Stony Point; a step-uncle, Ronald Millsaps of Statesville; his sweetheart, Lori Williams of Wilkesboro; and a special cousin, Tammy Brown of Lenoir.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Ray Pennell and Rev. Kyle Goodman will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery. Honors will be provided by the Sons of the Confederate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include: Amos White, Mike Jolly, Zach Brown, Alvin Brown, Kenneth Warren, and Butch Millsaps.
