Heather Dunn Hunsucker

Heather Dunn Hunsucker, 40, of Mt. Gilead, died Saturday morning, April 1, 2017 at CHS-Stanly.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Wadeville Baptist Church. Rev. Brantley Moore officiated and interment followed in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Heather was born May 28, 1976 in Montgomery County. She was the daughter of Tommy Carl and Helen Dennis Dunn of Biscoe. She was a graduate of East Montgomery High School and was a homemaker.

She was a faithful member of Wadeville Baptist Church, where she was active in all phases of ministry with her husband. Heather was an accomplished baker, her business, Heather’s House of Confection, was well known in a five county area.

She was preceded in death by a son, Logan Hunsucker.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Rev. Jamie “Jim” Hunsucker; three sons, Tommy, Eli and Deacon Hunsucker, all of the home; two daughters, Nikki Melcher (Tyler) of Mt. Gilead, and Kaitlyn Mauldin (Adrian Jr) of Biscoe; a grandson, Obidiah Mauldin; a sister, Trudy (John) of Asheboro; a brother, John Parsons of Biscoe; her father-in-law, Roger Hunsucker (Susan) of Randleman; her uncle and aunt, Phillip and Sue (Dennis) Carswell of Taylorsville; and cousins, Michelle White of Taylorsville, and Johnathan White and wife Jenny of Lenoir.
