Kay Frances Henley, 59, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 17, 2017, at her residence, after a period of declining health.
She was born January 9, 1958, in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Henley and Jo Ann Garner Henley. She was formerly employed in the restaurant and food industry. Kay was a Four Square Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Brandie Jacqueline Kaye Melton of the home; a special God-daughter, Deanna Lynn Brandon of Salisbury; two brothers, Phillip Eugene Henley and wife Brenda of Kannapolis, and John Franklin Henley of Salisbury; and a special aunt and uncle, Audene and Tommy Chapman of Stony Point.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Margarito Mendoza will officiate.
