Ricky Allen Barlow

Ricky Allen Barlow, 55, of Morganton, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Ricky was born on May 31, 1962, in Burke County, son of the late Alfred E. Smith Barlow and Maggie Geneva Ferguson Barlow. He was employed in the logging industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepfather, Spencer Townsend, and a brother, Alfred Barlow.

Surviving is a son, Allen James “AJ” Barlow and wife Sharon of Taylorsville; four grandchildren, Alexander, Allison, Madison and Emily Barlow; his brothers and sisters, Ray, Phil, Edna and Wanda; and his loving girlfriend, Shelia Dutton of Taylorsville.

The family will hold a receiving of friends on Monday, February 12, 2018, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
