Event will be June 7 in Taylorsville, June 12 in Hickory
A public meeting for soliciting comments on three N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) documents is planned in Taylorsville this week, with another in Hickory next week.
The documents are the SPOT 5.0 Draft point assignment, the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, and the Comprehensive Transportation Plan.
Open houses/public meetings for the draft documents are planned on Thursday, June 7, 4-6 p.m., at CVCC – Alexander Center, Room 103, as well as on Tuesday, June 12, 4-6 p.m., at Ridgeview Library in Hickory.
This is an opportunity to provide input on potential road, bicycle, pedestrian, and other projects and policies happening in the four-county region of Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba counties.
Individuals may attend any portion of the two-hour open house. GHMPO staff will be present to help answer questions.
