Bobby Lee Barnes

Bobby Lee Barnes, 76, of Hiddenite, passed away at his residence on June 12, 2018 after a period of declining health.

Bobby was born February 25, 1942, in Alexander County, to the late Challie Theodore and Theresa Thelma Smith Barnes. Bobby had retired from Gulf State Paper with 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by nine brothers, Jack, Ned, Donnie, Homer, Ronald, Richard, Lloyd, Harold and Bill Barnes; and a sister, Betty Grant.

Bobby is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his special pet, Cheyanne.

The family will gather to remember and celebrate Bobby’s life and receive friends at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel, 158 Stony Point School Road, Stony Point, on Saturday June 16, 2018 from 6-8 p.m.
