Kenneth Junior Spann

Kenneth Junior Spann, 64, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House.

He was born September 1, 1953, in Catawba County, to the late Louie Franklin Spann and Ruth Cannon Spann. Kenneth was a member of Liledoun Baptist Church, in Taylorsville, and retired from Hancock and Moore Furniture after 48 years of service.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Patricia Turner Spann of the home; daughter, Jessica Britt of Conway, South Carolina; brother, Gwyn Spann of Hickory; and a sister, Shirley Goins of Elloree, South Carolina.

A memorial service to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 5:00 p.m., at Liledoun Baptist Church in Taylorsville. Rev. James Lockee will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 4:00 from 4:45 p.m., at Liledoun Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Patricia Spann at 2696 Liledoun Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681, to offset funeral costs.
