Edna Crowder Houser

Edna Crowder Houser, 95, of Hickory, went home to be with her Lord on March 24, 2019.

Born July 26, 1923 to the late Dewey and Essie Crowder of Lincoln County, she was a member of Tri-City Baptist Church of Hickory.

Surviving are three daughters, Reba Yarborough and husband Rev. Marvin Yarborough of Charleston, South Carolina, Rebecca Brittain of Hickory, and Barbra Huffman of Charlotte; her brother, Thomas Crowder of Hickory; and a sister, Ruth Crowder of Hickory.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Cemetery of Vale. Officiating the service will be Rev. Marvin Yarborough and Rev. Phillip Yarborough.
