Margaret Michelle Parsons

Margaret Michelle Parsons, 42, of Taylorsville, passed away on July 17, 2019 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.

She was born on May 30, 1977 to Jimmy Lee and Laura Jane Howell Parsons. Michelle worked as a cashier in the food industry. She served as a caregiver to her mother, loved her family, especially fond of the younger generation, loved life, and was always willing to provide for anyone and everyone else.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Parsons; father to her son, Gerald Ferguson; paternal grandparents, Robert and Ruth Parsons, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Rev. Thomas Leon and Margaret Parsons Howell; five uncles; and three aunts.

Those left to cherish the memories of Michelle include her son, Jordan Parsons; mother, Laura Parsons of Taylorsville; brother, Nicholas and wife Sarah, and their children, Alysson and Jamarion Parsons of Conover; 11 aunts; and eight uncles. Also, special friends that are too many to count.

Visitation for Michelle will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Alexander Funeral Service from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 24 at St. John Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery.
