Henry Cullen Shook, 86, of Hiddenite, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at his home.
Henry was born on Monday, March 20, 1933, in Iredell County, to the late James Cecil and Elsie Byers Shook.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Bell Keever Shook; his brother, Bill Shook; and his sister, Jean Shook.
Henry is survived by his son, Michael Shook and wife Robin of Hiddenite; two grandchildren, Kyler Evan and Gracee Rochelle Shook; a brother, Cecil Shook (Sonny) of Statesville; a sister, Linda Turman and husband Dewey; sister-in-law, Willie Keever; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Unity Christian Church in Stony Point. Rev. Scott Hammer will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the Funeral Service, from 4:00-5:00 p.m., at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Christian Church, 7860 Hwy 90 E., Stony Point, NC 28678.
