Nancy Herman Bolick

Nancy Herman Bolick, 70, of Marion, passed away on September 2, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side.

A native of Alexander County, Nancy was born on May 19, 1949 to the late Lester and Pauline Herman.

Nancy was known as a wonderful cook and an avid shopper. She loved her coffee and donuts, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her great-granddaughter.

Nancy is survived by a son, Mark Rockette; four siblings, Ann Anderson, Linda Herman, Terry Herman (Barbara), and Gary Herman (Jennifer); a granddaughter, Tara Rockette (Justin Johnson); a great-granddaughter, Blakely Johnson; and her loving companion, John “Fox” Herndon.

A service for Nancy will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service, in Marion, with Reverend Mickey Moree officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
