Evelyn McDonald Morgan

Evelyn McDonald Morgan, 73, of Stony Point, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

She was born on Saturday, November 24, 1945, in Randolph County, to the late Stacy McDonald and Bertha Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Morgan; a son, Jim Morgan; a daughter, Yevonne Morgan; a brother, Buster Wilson; and a sister, Robertta Cooper.

Evelyn is survived by three sons, Alvin Morgan (Wazzy), Mike Morgan and wife Carolyn, and Stacy Morgan, all of Stony Point; two daughters, Tammy Mahala and husband Mark, and Lisa Morgan, both of Stony Point; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home. Pastor Isaac Pettis from Community Baptist Church in Statesville will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
