Donna S. Raby

Donna S. Raby, 67, of Shook Road, Claremont, passed away on November 12, 2019 at Carolina Caring in Newton.

Donna was born June 20, 1952, in Bluefield, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Watson Minnix and Lillian Taylor Minnix.

She had worked many years in the service agency and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed outdoor activities, watching birds, and gardening.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Wade Raby; a grandson, Ethan Hester; a sister; and two brothers.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory include two daughters, Dannelle Hester and husband Richard of Taylorsville, and Denise Hamilton and husband Shane of Smithfield, Virginia; a grandson, Tyler Hester; a sister, June O’Donnell of Texas; and a brother, Arnold Minnix and wife Judy of Oak Island.

No formal services are planned.
