Debbie was one of the most dedicated woman I have ever known. What made her laugh and smile the most, was talking about her granddaughters!!! The lunches at school were awesome. Her three “four-legged furry companions” at home were Leroy, Coco, and Misty. They were always there to laugh and cry with. She was also a Nascar Fan!! She watched them, she met them, she had memorabilia that you wouldn’t have believed. All of this to say, that DEBBIE ENJOYED LIFE!!!
These are all “Earthly” things. Her faith in God was her ROCK!!! She shared Jesus with EVERYONE she met. Her “Church Family” were her “Family of Choice”. We ALL have both a “Given and a Chosen” Family. BOTH WERE THE SPARKLE IN HER EYES AND THE BOUNCE IN HER STEPS!!! You will be MISSED, my Sister, but NEVER FORGOTTEN. No more tears. Healthy and Whole and IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR LORD!!!

Debbie and I were closed Friends when we were around 14 years old. We spent the night at each other’s homes and we went to movie theaters together and laughed so much. I would run into her every once in a blue moon and it was always a hug and another sparkle of memories of close days we had together as best friends. Even if we went our own ways, we never forgot each other. So, it is with regret, that I never knew that she had been ill and so my Heart and Prayers go out to the Family. She was one of a Kind. And, will never be forgotten.
