Brian Elliott Teague, 60, of Hickory, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Frye Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 24, 1960, in Catawba County, to the late Grant S. Teague and Judith Hood Newton. Brian was a member of Fellowship Advent Christian Church in Taylorsville and was employed with M&R RV Repair in Hickory. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, mining for gold, biking, and traveling.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Judith Hood Newton and husband Bill of Hickory; mother of his children, Debbie Teague of Ellendale; daughters, Holly Rhoads and husband Abe of Carrollton, Ohio, and Jenna Teague and Michael of Carrollton, Ohio; brother, Neal Teague of Dallas, Texas; sister, Amy Fentress and husband Frank of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Chase and Austin Rhoads; special friends, Mark Vadeboncouer of Hickory, Lynn Presler of Taylorsville, and Steve Crouch of Taylorsville; and many other lifelong friends and family that were a big influence to him.
A memorial service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 4:00 p.m., at Fellowship Advent Christian Church in Taylorsville. Rev. David Ross will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 18, 2020, from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m., at Fellowship Advent Christian Church.
