Phyllis Marie Andrew Shook, 63, of Hickory, passed away at her residence Tuesday, July 7, 2020 after an extended illness.
She was born Monday, January 21, 1957, in Winnebago County, Illinois, to the late John Fredrick Andrew and Elna Mary Hedelburg. She was a member of West Hickory Baptist Church and worked as an accountant in Mooresville.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Allen Shook; two daughters, Savannah Shook and Stephanie Shook; and a brother, Rodney Andrew.
Phyllis is survived by three sons, C.J. Shook of Greensboro, Jody Shook and wife Leslie of Hiddenite, and Randy Shook and wife Kristi of Illinois; two daughters, Shannon Shook and fiancé Rickey, and Sabrina Shook and fiancé Cainan, all of Hickory; and many, many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Shook Family Cemetery. Pastor Terry Dickerson will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
