Thomas Nolan, age 68, of Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.
Thomas was born December 26, 1951, in Miami, Florida, the son of the late Chastian Nolan and Beatrice O’Conner.
He was a US Marine veteran who served in Vietnam and was of the Christian faith. He received his law degree from Cooley Law School in Michigan and practiced law in Orlando, Florida, until he retired in 2010. He loved to play golf, fishing, boating, and riding motorcycles. He dearly loved his step-son, Taylor.
He was preceded in death by: his sister Laurie Critser and step-father and mother, Arthur and Bea Critser.
Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his step-son, Taylor Capogreco of Melbourne, Florida; his sister, Debbi Hollingsworth and husband, Joel, of Taylorsville; his brothers, Michael Nolan and wife, Rae, of Portland, Oregon, Jeff Crister of Huntsville, Alabama; 21 nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held Sunday, July 12, 2020, and burial was in the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury.
