Carolyn Lorene Hines Brawley

Carolyn Lorene Hines Brawley, 74, of Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at her residence.

Born on January 22, 1946, in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Hazel Lorene Dagenhart Hines. During her career, Carolyn worked at Frye Hospital as a custodian. She was a member at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Ann Green; son, Jr. Payne; sister, Patsy Rhyne; and brother, Danny Hines.

Funeral service for Carolyn will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 3:30 p.m., at Alexander Funeral Service with Rev. Gary Jennings officiating. A private graveside service will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Elledge, Jr. Payne, Dion Hines, Terry Smith, Dale Green, and Mike Jolly.
