Schools: remote day Jan. 8 due to snow forecast

Alexander County Schools will operate with a remote instructional day tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 8, 2021) due to forecasted winter weather conditions. Students and staff will not report to the school buildings but will work remotely from home, a notice on the school system stated.
