Javier Munoz Alcantara

Javier Munoz Alcantara, 53, of Hiddenite, “you will forever be in our hearts.” He passed away February 16, 2021.

He was born in Tlaxcala, Mexico to David Munoz Perez and Estela Alcantara Alba, but Javier loved Taylorsvillle. Javier was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed many things including selling at the flea market, listening to Luis Miguel, his dogs, and watching his favorite soccer team, Cruz Azul.

Those preceding him in death include his dad, David Munoz Perez, and a sister, Veronica Munoz.

Those left to cherish the memories of Javier are his wife of 22 years, Marie Tamara Olmos; his mother, Estela Alcantara Alba; son, David Munoz Pena; three stepchildren, Leydi Lezama, Carlos Lezama, and Clara Lezama; two brothers, Oscar Munoz Alcantara and Ricardo Munoz Alcantara; two sisters, Adriana Munoz Alcantara and Evelia Munoz Alcantara; a grandson, Ethan Lezama; a granddaughter, Alia Garcia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Alexander Funeral Service on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Father Camilo Cardenas will officiate.
