Brenda Jean Wallace Thomas

Brenda Jean Wallace Thomas, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 19, 2021.

She was born August 5, 1947, in Iredell County, to the late Vestal and Pearl Wallace. She was a long-time attendee of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Brenda was an avid reader, whether it was books or audiobooks, enjoyed puzzles, watching TV mysteries, going to eat with friends, going to reunions, and traveling with Jerry when she was physically able.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wallace.

Brenda is survived by her son, Shawn Lambert; grandson, Ashton Lambert; close friend, Chris Martin; and many other special friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021, at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Susannah Pittman and Rev. Kate May officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church Children Ministry, PO Box 658, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
