Shane “Anthony” Sharpe

Shane “Anthony” Sharpe, 38, of Taylorsville, passed away on May 19, 2021.

Anthony was born on December 21, 1982, in Catawba County, to Patsy Tipton Sharpe of the home and the late Terry Sharpe. Anthony worked in the grading business as an equipment operator. Anthony was of the Baptist faith, he enjoyed “coon” hunting, fishing, shooting, cutting trees, wrestling with his family, being outdoors, and making people laugh.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Jane Tipton; and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Irma Sharpe; nephew, Greyson Osborne; and uncles, Tommy and Paul Tipton.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish and celebrate the life of Anthony include his brother, Travis Sharpe; sister, Abby Osborne; beloved children, Lacie and Mason Sharpe, and their mother, Jenny Oxentine; fiancée, Cinthia Reyes (son Dominic); aunts, Sue Noto, Alice Minter, Nella Lambert, Norma Ervin, Mary Ray, and Pam Wall; uncles, Glen Tipton, Joe Jr. Tipton, and David Tipton; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends, Justin Childers and wife Mahala.

Visitation for Mr. Sharpe will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held at Three Forks Baptist Church on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. Dr. Carson Moseley and Chad Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are: Justin Childers, Bryce Childers, Travis Sharpe, Mason Sharpe, Mike Pennell, and Derrick Hatton.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
