Ida Darlene Harrison Stafford, 92, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Trinity Ridge in Hickory.
She was born November 29, 1928, in Cambridge, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Sebastian Cabot Harrison and Ida McFarland Harrison.
She was the owner and operator of Taylorsville Beach Seafood and Steak House. She attended Christian Fellowship Church and enjoyed antiquing. She loved her flowers and enjoyed fishing.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hall “Bud” Stafford; two grandchildren, Kyna Stafford and Crystal Stafford; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Martha Harrison and Dessie Shook; and two brothers, Andrew Harrison and Jr. Harrison.
Those left to cherish and honor her memory include three daughters, Diane Fox and husband, Gary of Jasper, Georgia, Pam Winebarger and husband D.C., and Donna Johnson and husband Bobby, all of Taylorsville; step-daughter, Diane Burnard of England; a son, Jarrett E. Stafford of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Brian Fox, Chris Fox and wife Delaine, Kim Fox, Kevin Winebarger and wife Amy, Eric Winebarger, Erica Stafford, Rhona Stafford, Julia McLaughlin and husband Jesse, Jordan Johnson and wife Autumn, Mark Burnard and wife Lisa, Maria Harris and husband Steve, and Steven Burnard and wife Kriste; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Austin, Hayden, Katelynn, Jacob, Zac, Logan, Dillon, Ethan, Cora, Aaralynn, Jude, Eden, Maddie, Harry, Grace, Connor, Trixie, and Ashley; great-great-grandchildren, Maya, Marley, and Sylas; two sisters, Mary Lou Canipe of Hickory, and Sarah Pollack and husband Jim of Pennsylvania; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Christian Fellowship Church. Pastor Scott Green will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers include Brian Fox, Kevin Winebarger, Eric Winebarger, Jordan Johnson, Zac Winebarger, and Logan Western.
