Memorial Day Concert is May 29
Studio3 Music School will present a free, outdoor, Memorial Day Concert on May 29, 2021.
Everyone is invited to come Saturday, May 29, at 4:30 p.m. and experience this inspiring and patriotic music. The Studio3 orchestra, accompanied by the Community Chorus, will present traditional, patriotic Music such as the Armed Forces Medley, and other extraordinary and thrilling pieces.
Guest soloists, some from the Celtic Christmas Concert, will join the Chorus to sing inspirational songs, and finish with “God Bless America.”
Participants, including the Alexander Central High School Color Guard, will honor the fallen who have died in service to our country, and remember those who have died from Covid 19.
Music Director and Orchestra Conductor Kathy Estes said, “Our desire is that this music will help inspire healing in our community from the events of this past year. Remembrance, Renewal, and Hope for the Future, is our theme.”
The event will take place in the lower level parking area at Taylorsville Savings Bank, 107 Main Ave. Drive NE, Taylorsville. The concert is under roof, so it will be held rain or shine. Everyone should bring a lawn chair. Free admission. Concert begins at 4:30 p.m. Come early for a good spot.
