Paula Deanna Hand Jolly

Paula Deanna Hand Jolly

Paula Deanna Hand Jolly, age 50, of the Wittenburg Community, went to her forever home surrounded by her dedicated family on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

She was born on Monday, April 19, 1971, in Catawba County, to Hayden Hand and Brenda “Gail” Sloope Hand.

She was a friend, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and most of all a fighter in everything she did in her short fifty years. Anywhere with sun, sand, and waves was her favorite place to be. Her favorite moments were always spent laughing with her family and enjoying every single moment with her grandchildren.

She strived to make everyone around her feel good and reminded them to always “stay humble and kind.” Monday through Friday, she was at Taylor King Furniture where she gained a bonus family in each and every face she came into contact with. To know her and to experience her smile was an honor.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hayden Hand.

Those left to cherish her sweet memory include her husband, Barry Jolly; mother, Gail Hand; two children, Klint Kerley (Cody) and Allison Kerley; stepson, Kevin Jolly; three grandchildren, Carter Kerley, Charlotte Chrisman, and Keegan Jolly; her sister, Teena Fox (Kenny); two brothers, Bryan Hand and Doug Pope (Darlene); two nephews, Dalton Fox (Samantha) and Steven Hand (Jessica); two nieces, Kendra Fox (Oliver) and Mandy Lackey; two great-nephews, Eli and Easton Hand; and great-niece, Laina Arnold.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Friday, June 4, 2021, at the Friendship Lutheran Church Family Life Center starting at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Meade and Rev. Scott Greene saying a few words on behalf of the family. To follow, the family will mingle with guests until 7:00 p.m. Feel free to show up anytime between 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to help us celebrate Paula’s life. Inurnment will be kept with the family until a later date when she will make her final beach trip.

In lieu of flowers, all donations should be made to Taylor King Furniture, 286 County Home Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681, in care of a college fund to be started, in honor of her, for her two grandchildren whom she loved immensely.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.

Condolences may be sent to www.alexfuneralservice.com.
