Brona Teague Warlick

Brona Teague Warlick

Brona Teague Warlick went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 8, 2022, passing away peacefully at home in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

She was born on July 5, 1938, in Alexander County, to the late J.C. and Lois Warren Teague. She graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1956.

In 1957, she moved to Pensacola, Florida, and more recently lived in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Brona was a wonderful and caring person. She was a great cook, talented seamstress, and gracious hostess. She was a light to all around her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Warlick, and her son, Dale Warlick.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Leah Yancy and husband Russell; her sister, Margaret “Honey” Wills; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.

She truly loved her family, friends, her church, and the Lord. She attended East Pointe Baptist Church in Spanish Fort, Alabama, where her Sunday School members referred to her as a “movie star” whom they loved.

Her funeral was held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Saturday, January 15, with interment at Barrancas National Military Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida, where her husband was buried.

Brona will be greatly missed. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
