James Harold Teague

James Harold Teague, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at his home in Alexander County.

James was born on July 1, 1946, in Alexander County, to the late James Walter Teague and Blanch Elmer Boston Teague. Mr. Teague was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish the memories of Mr. Teague include his wife, Deloris Teague; eight adopted children, Tima McCullough, Ramonda Williams, Marilyn Teague, Latisha Bass, Anthony J. McCullough, Antionette McCullough, Chelsea Anderson, and Shawn Leyva; brothers, Earnest Teague, Larry Teague, Michael Teague, Melvin Teague, and Jerry Teague; and sisters, Betty McCurdy, Creola Jones, and Janice “Winky” Gillian.

Visitation for James will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Liberty Grove Baptist Church from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the memorial service to follow. Rev. Elliot Boston and Rev. Anthony Carter will officiate.
