Michael Richard Baker

Michael Richard Baker, 77, of Hickory, passed away September 6, 2022, at The Greens at Viewmont in Catawba County.

Mike was born August 22, 1945, in Catawba County, to the late Hugh Mallow Baker and Willie Dellena Michael Baker. Mike was a furniture worker. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Virginia Carol Russ Baker of Newton; a son, Michael Brent Baker of Hickory; and two daughters, Jill Michelle Baker of Canton, and Mandy Nichole Baker of Hickory.
