Toni Kuykendall Sharpe

With great sadness, Toni Kuykendall Sharpe’s family announces her passing. Toni will be greatly missed by all. She was 68 years young. Surrounded by her friends and family, Toni went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Catawba Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.

Toni was born in Alexander County to the late Oscar Kuykendall and Lois Kuykendall Dyson. She was a graduate of Alexander Central High School. She was employed with the county office until she retired. Toni loved traveling with her loving husband and watching tennis, basketball, and football.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Terry Bolick.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Don Sharpe of the home; a son, Joey Sharpe (Robyn) of Knoxville, Tennessee; a special nephew, Michael Robinson; and two of her best friends, Kay Bard and Kathy Roberts.

The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel in Stony Point. Pastor John Dixon will officiate. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service, 10:30 to 11:00 a.m., at Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens in Statesville.
