Ann Carolyn Harris Coggins

Ann Carolyn Harris Coggins, 83, of Newton, passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2023, at Catawba Memorial Hospital in Hickory.

Ann was born March 24, 1939, in Burke County, to the late Harley Harris and Vera Rae Booker Harris. Ann was a furniture worker and she was a member of Bright Light Tabernacle.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Debra Johnson of Newton, and Betty Thompson of Hickory; six brothers, Junior Harris, Tony Harris, and Ricky Harris, all of Florida, Joe Harris of Weaverville, David Harris of Stony Point, and Steve Harris of Swannanoa; two sisters, Barbara Hudson of Florida, and Judy Huntsinger of Fletcher.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, March 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Bright Light Tabernacle, 2777 Highland Ave. NE, Hickory, NC 28601. Pastor Ray York will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, March 27, 2023, 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn of Lincolnton.
