Billy Jude McAlpin
Billy Jude McAlpin, 18, of Statesville, on the morning of April 15, 2023, within a split second, left this life. He died doing what he loved, skating on his skateboard, and listening to his headphones, on his way to work.
Jude was born on December 1, 2004, to his best friend and mom, Angie McAlpin. Jude was a senior at West Iredell High School and was employed at Larkin Golf Course.
Those left to hold Jude in their hearts for the rest of eternity include Derek Studevent, step-dad; Alyissa McAlpin, sister; Kade McAlpin, brother; Sharon Jones, Mamaw; and his Godmother, Stacey Fagan.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Red Buffalo Brewing, 108 N. Center St, Statesville, NC.
His mom prefers donations be made in Jude’s honor to the Iredell Arts Council or 33 1/3 Record Store.

When you were 6yrs old you told me “I am going to be a rock star!” You grew into a teenager and played the guitar. It was a God given talent you shared with us. I am pretty sure you are in heaven rocking all the stars now. I miss you every second of ever day! I love you!
