Jerry Don Oglesby

Jerry Don Oglesby, 82, of Statesville, passed away on April 27, 2023, at home with Hospice care.

Jerry was born in Statesboro, Georgia, on November 4, 1940, to the late A.D. Oglesby and Stella Hagan. He was honorably discharged from the Army and proudly served in Vietnam. He retired from Shaver Wood Products.

There are many left to cherish Jerry’s memory including out-of-state family and friends and surrogate sons, daughters, and grandchildren.

Jerry didn’t want a service but asked for his and his wife, Linda’s ashes to be sprinkled over his favorite fishing spot in Florida.
