Ricki “Rikki” Shelton McConnell
Ricki “Rikki” Shelton McConnell, 64, from Asheboro, formally of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2023, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Rikki was born May 31, 1959, in Randolph County, the daughter of Sylvia Hogan Shelton and the late Banner Shelton. She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her mother, those left to cherish and honor her memory include her son, William James Shelton of Wilkes County; her sisters, Geri Cook of Asheboro, Kelli Cox of Taylorsville, and Traci Sampson of Garner; and her brother, Banner Reid Shelton II of Coleridge.
