Lisa Michelle Starnes Riahi, 49, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Alexander County.
She was born to Leroy Starnes Jr. and Dini Williams Smith on Friday, August 17, 1973, in Catawba County. Mrs. Riahi worked as a cable and fiber inspector for Legrand. She was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish the memories of Lisa include her husband of four years, Malek Riahi; parents, Jr Starnes (Amy) and Dini Smith (Bruce); sister, Amy Moore; and stepsiblings, Bruce Smith Jr., Fran Moose, Anita Kent, Lisa Fortenberry, and Robert Barger.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Eddie Sapoch will officiate.

My condolences to the family. I have never met a sweeter person than Lisa. I will miss her dearly. She had so much love for her family and her husband. But mostly for her God.. I was truly blessed to know her and call her friend. My prayers are with you all.
