Wayne Dyer

Wayne Dyer, 79 of Boomer, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his home.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Wayne was born January 22, 1944, in Wilkes County, to Royal and Dora Nichols Dyer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Dyer.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Dyer Treadway (John) of Taylorsville; a son, Allen Wayne Dyer (Angela) of Wilkesboro; six grandchildren, William Dula, Danielle Absher, Matthew Griffith, Dylan Griffith, Ashley Nichole Dyer, and Alex Nathaniel Dyer; four great-grandchildren, Alyson Royal, Weston Absher, Lucas Absher, and Griffin Absher, and one on the way; and a sister, Hazel McGlamery (Buck) of Millers Creek.
