Larry Herbert Mays

Larry Herbert Mays, 78, of Conover, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

He was born in Catawba County to the late Cleuts Clifton and Mary Lucille White Mays.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rowe Mays, and sisters, Phyllis Drum and Joanne Hall.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Eunice Schronce Mays; son, Larry Wayne Mays and wife Donna; grandchildren, Tyler Mays and wife Candis, and Trevor Mays and wife Tori; and great-grandchildren, Thor, Tallulah, Kaynon and Ava Mays.

Receiving of friends will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
