Drought: Town water customers asked to conserve

Due to the current D2 (Severe Drought) classification that Alexander and several surrounding counties are under, as well as conservation methods being implemented by the City of Hickory and Energy United, the Town of Taylorsville is entering into Stage I – Voluntary Conservation.

“We ask that everyone be mindful of the water they are using during this time,” said Town Manager Aaron Wike.
