Double Creek Rodeo set May 1-2

Double Creek Rodeo will hold rodeo events at H&H Arena at 533 Ned Herman Road in the Ellendale Community on Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. daily with the rodeo starting at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $20 for adults; children age 6 and under are admitted at no charge. This is a cash only event.

There will be Kids’ Mutton Bustin’ (sheep riding), as well as adult events, including Steer Wrestling, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Break Away Roping, Tie-Down Roping, and Bull Riding.

Proceeds from concessions sales will go to benefit local resident Guy Mundy, who was injured in a hunting accident.
