Dr. Jaimie Laity, a veterinarian at the Animal Medical Hospital, is hosting a free community “If This Dog Could Talk” event in partnership with Merck Animal Health. She, along with renowned photographer Elias Weiss Friedman, creator of the photo-documentary series The Dogist, will be on hand to raise awareness of the dog flu and emphasize the importance of speaking with your veterinarian about your dog’s lifestyle-associated risk factors. At this free event, community members and their dogs can connect with other pet owners in the area and enjoy the following: • Access to tips/advice from Dr. Laity regarding how to keep your dog healthy (including insight into the important role the dog flu vaccine plays in keeping your pet healthy) • Photos with Elias Weiss Freidman, creator of renowned photo-documentary series The Dogist, and a chance for your pup to be featured in his new e-book • Healthy treats at the Doggie Bone Bar as well as a “doggy bag” full of treats for your pup as well as important pup health and wellness information
