Charlotte’s Pace and Rhoney Named to Academic All-District Team

Pace earned Academic All-District 3 honors each of the past two seasons en route to Academic All-American First Team last season

and third team after her sophomore campaign. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a 4.0 grade-point average in accounting. Her list of academic accolades include 2018 Provost Student- Athlete Award, 2018 Woman of the Year Nominee, Perfect Niner (4.0 for the semester): fall 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, spring 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Chancellor’s List: fall 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, spring 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll: 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal: 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. She recently accepted a Postgraduate Scholarship from the Accounting Department at Charlotte.
Rhoney makes the Academic All-District 3 Team for the first time in her career. She has a 3.971 grade-point average in accounting. Her list of academic accolades includes Perfect Niner: fall 2017, 2016 spring 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Chancellor’s list: fall 2017, 2016, 2015, spring 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll: 2016, 2017 and 2018 and the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal: 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Rhoney is a graduate of ACHS and is the daughter of Kelly and Doug Rhoney of the Wittenburg Community.
The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in June.
The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian, two-year schools and other affiliations.
