Doretha Lawal was born on February 15, 1951, to Roland Stokes and Wilma Jean Newland Stokes of Taylorsville. She departed this life on June 4, 2024.
Doretha Lawal was a devoted member of Redeeming Love Christian Center.
She leaves to mourn in her passing a daughter, Zada Dunn; brother, Ernest Stokes; and sister, Teherrah Hassan.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 15, 2024, in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
